After all, who wouldn't want their tower to become a cinematic masterpiece, a cultural landmark, or a witness to historic events?
By employing an integrated artificial intelligence approach, architects can collaboratively explore design conditions with their clients, addressing formal challenges and programmatic requirements, including wind performance and structural optimization. These variables constitute the core ingredients of an exceptional tower design. The introduction of Artificial Intelligence posed its own challenge – creating a tool that could initiate thought rather than merely follow it. However, the initial connection proved elusive, particularly when attempting to extrude forms from the heart of the tower, a technique frequently employed by Marc Northstar in his paintings. Despite encountering obstacles, through persistent efforts, Machine Learning (ML) gradually began to comprehend the situation and transform Northstar's concepts into a tangible perspective.
Vette del Nexus
In the realm of architectural creation, Marc Northstar held firm to his vision—a building that would not only be aesthetically appealing but also foster an environment that breathes and communicates. He yearned to push the boundaries of what many considered impossible. However, as he ventured into the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI), he found that it often led his designs astray, taking them in unexpected directions.
Determined to stay true to his artistic intent, Marc realized that he needed to take control of the creative process. Rather than relying solely on AI, he chose to recalibrate the prompt and explore new methods of engineering. It was a journey akin to a spirited debate with a close friend—challenging, yet ultimately leading to growth and transformation.
From this clash of ideas emerged the majestic tower known as Vette del Nexus. As it rose towards the sky, it defied conventional norms and expectations. Forms extruded and intruded, intertwining with one another, creating a dynamic interplay of shapes and spaces. This tower embodied Marc Northstar's desired language, a manifestation of his architectural vision.
Arx II
The integration process led to the exploration of various forms, but many of them faced the risk of collapse. However, these challenges paved the way for a new iteration called Arx I. The initial concept focused on simplifying the core of the tower by using extruded lines, which allowed for the stretching and articulation of spaces through the clever use of transparencies.
What truly captured and fascinated our team was the development of Arx II. From its base, one could easily catch glimpses of the interior as their gaze ascended towards the top. This effect was achieved through skillfully applied glazing and meticulously crafted forms, resulting in a harmonious integration of the tower with its surrounding environment. The interplay between transparency and form created an intriguing visual experience that left a lasting impression.

With its name signifying "Innovation Sky," 혁신스카이 (Hyeoksin Seukai) was poised to become a testament to modern architectural marvels. This extraordinary creation seamlessly merged the visionary designs of Marc Northstar with the cutting-edge capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Marc recognized the immense potential of AI as a tool to augment his creative process and propel the boundaries of architectural innovation.
As the design process unfolded, the previously rigid and predictable envelope of the tower began to transform. Curved surfaces twisted, folded, and intertwined, giving rise to unexpected spatial configurations and revealing surprising moments of openness and luminosity throughout the entire structure.
