Robotic Arm

Using a combination of robot arm, AR, and virtual communication we investigated possibilities of a new workflow for design by connecting the physically separated the components of the process. This process questions the hierarchal advantage that physical platforms suggest for an easy-to-access solution that is equally available for all the users regardless of their location.

Luminous Analysis

Create 3D models of luminaires, set their properties (e.g., luminous flux, color temperature), and simulate how these fixtures illuminate a space. This helps in optimizing the placement and quantity of artificial light sources for desired lighting levels and aesthetics. This research conducted in collaboration with architect Brendon Levitt.

3D Scan of Existing Structure

Capture precise 3D point cloud data of an existing structure by emitting laser pulses in various directions and measuring their return times. This process creates a detailed and accurate 3D representation of the building you want to scan. This technology has versatile applications, including energy modeling, locating air or water leaks with technician consultations, property renovation, and even input for video gaming! This project was implemented successfully and donated to the USGBC and Faith Baptist Church in the city of Oakland, CA.
